Located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Marymount is a Catholic school serving girls from pre-K to 12th grade. It is run by the apostolic women’s religious order, Religious of the Sacred Heart. These are not nuns, though they are quite religious. Not all teachers are members of the order, but the order is in control of the school. Non Catholic students are admitted, but the school is very Catholic in its culture.
